CUBE Directory Area Contents
----------------------------

  This directory contains two subdirectories, each of which use
  a specific type of projection :

    EQUIRECTANGULAR/    Equirectangular projection,
                 
    POINT_PERSPECTIVE/  Point Perspective projection,

    RING_POLAR/  Polar projection for Rings observations



  Please refer to the Cube SIS document for details on these 
  projections.


File conventions
----------------

  Files present in the subdirectories are all tar archives compressed
  using gzip.
  Usual command to uncompress the file would be :
  tar -xvf filename.tar.gz

  Each archive contains a PDS label file (extension .LBL), a binary
  data file (extension .DAT) and some jpeg pictures providing an 
  overview of the data content (extension .JPG).

  All filename are 32 characters plus extension. Filename provides 
  the name of the observation, the target in the field of view, 
  the focal plane used and the spectral resolution.
