IRTF/MIRSI INFRARED IMAGES AND MAPS

The program that generated this data was funded by NASA to monitor Jupiter in the infrared, providing a long- term temporal and spatial context that supported the encounters of several spacecraft with the planet, e.g. This dataset covers part of the gap between the Galileo Mission and arrival of the Juno spacecraft.

This dataset was obtained using the Mid-Infrared Spectrometer and Imager (MIRSI) at NASA’s Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF). Observations were made from December 2003 to September 2011and the dataset covers wavelengths 4.9 - 24.8 μm.
