Support for Galileo C9
Let us know of your plans to support the C9 encounter. Perijove
is at 27 June 1997 11:52 UTC.
We will be using HST WFPC2 in the PC mode to observe a hot spot,
therefore the pointing will emphasize the equatorial region.
The observing times are:
- Start time: 25 Jun 1997 09:12:59 End time: 25 Jun 1997 10:02:59
- Start time: 25 Jun 1997 18:53:42 End time: 25 Jun 1997 19:45:49
- Start time: 26 Jun 1997 15:51:52 End time: 26 Jun 1997 16:41:52
- Start time: 27 Jun 1997 11:12:07 End time: 27 Jun 1997 12:03:23
Filters will consist of
- F953N (IR continuum)
- 889nm (strong methane band)
- 619nm (weak methane band)
- F673N (red continuum)
- F555W (broad band green)
- F410M (broad band blue)
