Gemini South T-ReCS Observations of Jupiter

These data were funded by NASA to monitor Jupiter in the infrared, providing a long-term temporal and spatial context to support the encounters of several spacecraft with the planet, e.g. the New Horizons flyby for this data set.

This dataset was obtained using the Thermal Region Camera Spectrograph (TReCS) at Gemini South Telescope. Observations were made from February 11 2007 to August 9 2009. The dataset covers wavelengths 7.7 – 24.8 μm.
